That background is beautiful, the birds are enchanting, and their hair looks marvelous. Great job!

Wow... Where do I begin? I think I'll divide this comment up into different sections so I can really give you a proper idea of what I think about it.

First of all; It's amazing. My laptop also seems to love it as it just spent a good few minutes refusing to scroll down so I could comment. Anyway, I'll talk about the background first. I think I pretty much told you already that I love the real northern lights and I long to see them in real life, but compared to images I've seen on google, I might as well just look at your picture. I'm a photoshop noob so I don't know how you can make the green lights look so beautiful and, not exactly realistic but 'believable'. (Not the word I'm looking for but it will suffice.)

The snowy mountains are perfection. I think I would have liked to have seen a few more trees as they look a little random, but too many trees might be a crowd. The detail of the rocky texture and smooth snow is beautiful though and you've captured nature's beauty within your art. There's not much I can say about the stars. They look like stars and that's it XD.

The Ice Birds;
OK, everyone LOVES the ice birds but I can't make up my mind about them. I loved the lineart version of them that I saw, well the rough sketch and I LOVE their design here as well, but they haven't been sold to me. They are beautiful and the look ever so fragile and if Wolf ever showed them to me I'd be able to die happy, but I dunno... there's something weird about them. Honestly, I think it's just me nit-picking and not liking the end of their wings, but that's just my preference. I do love them two bits and the longer I look at them the more I accept and want them.

Akira;
Love him. He looks perfect. He looks surprised/impressed but he also looks very believable as he looks rather cold. I don't know if you were meant to have that contrast, but while Wolf seems to shrug off the cold, Akira is huddled up slightly and has obviously the reddish cheeks and also a bit of a red nose. I just adore that extra detail and I think it's made me look at Akira in a different light. He is a very good character and I hope you do more art of him in the future since you've really improved from back in the days when you drew him

Wolf;
What can I say? That look... I have to keep scrolling back up to look at him, and every time I do there's a strange shudder of warmth that runs down my body. He is drop dead gorgeous, but I think you know that already. I love the glow from the, AMAZING fire. It almost looks as though it could melt Wolf, but that orangey glow adds to his sexiness. He's just that hot His arm's position seems a little stiff, but it doesn't take away from the over all image.

All together, I realy do love it and I want you to print it out and send me a copy so I can stick it on my wall XD. I would print it out myself, but you know; no printer.... and it wouldn't have come from you XD. Seriously though, this is amazing and makes me want Wolf even more, as well as wanting to learn about Akira and visit Iceland to see the Northern lights :'). Thank you for such an amazing image.

Yup, this is very very pretty. :3 The angle is very nice, and you did a very good job with the background. The feel is cold and adventorous. Great work!
