In the garden of Kou

First of all: SCANNER, GET YER COLOURS RIGHT! So many shades are lost... Ryuuki's gown was such a nice purple. OTZ I included pictures closer to what it is supposed to look like... Please check it before you judge me on colour.

Now that I got that off my chest, this is my entry for #SaiMono's first contest. I kind of promised I'd join in, and of course I'm last minute again. |D;;;
Anyways, the theme of this contest was "spring", and first thing I thought about was "going outdoors, in the garden". So Seiran, Shuurei and the unwanted guest Ryuuki went to sit in the garden. Shuurei took her embroidery with her. Flowers are very important in Saiunkoku's lore, so instead of adding real flowers (wich would have crowded the picture), I added flowers to the sheet she is making: blossom, and of course, the Purple Iris.

Kou Shouka is maintaining the garden... and it looks like he's found a second unwanted guest.
