It's been a while since I've written a journal. I guess I just wanted to skip March all together since I was not looking forward to the final day of the month. Long story short: my dad remarried and I do not like it.
Let's just pretend that never happened and move on to April.
I don't have much to say actually. o-O
My life isn't much more than writing my thesis. Most of my lab experiments are finished (although I noticed I'm missing some weights for the Magnetic Susceptibility measurements... gotta ask how to resolve that, or if they're even necessary).
So, now I'm reading up on Patagonian glaciations and climate fluctuations. It's quite interesting, actually. Usually I fall asleep halfway reading a scientific article, but now I've read 6 of them without getting bored. If anyone's interested: Chilean Patagonia has known 5 mayor glaciations from the Last Glacial Maximum until the Holocene, and then some minor fluctuation in the last 11 thousand years.
The only thing I have to do now is write it down, and then find information about the history of the Andes itself. I love Geology. |D
As for art... *pauses* You might have noticed, but I don't draw that often anymore... At least not nicely finished pictures. Maybe I can summarise it as doodles coloured with speedpaint that take longer than an exact speedpaint. What I do when I get home from university is sink down in my comfy armchair and watch tv while playing Fire Emblem:Awakening. I don't know about you, but I love that game. I really missed it. It's like playing "Blazing Sword" all over again. I mean, Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn were good, but they were much heavier story-wise. With unlimited support conversations, Awakening gives its characters the possibility to develop more. Which is great!
The only complaint I have is some of the outfit designs, but that's about it.
Talk to you later~
